Our first ever film Checkmate, was written, shot and edited in eight weeks and first presented in mid-April 2005. We all acted in the film, but had different production roles including writer, producer, director, cameraman etc. My main responsibilities included producing, editing and scoring the film. The result: a five and a half minute art/crime/revenge flick!
Story
When a drug deal goes wrong for local Kingpin 'Montana', he sends his best hitwoman out to kill the thief and take back the drugs.
